Adobe has improved the accuracy Fuji’s film simulations for the new X-Pro2 (available in the camera calibration box): Colors and gradation of Provia, Astia, Velvia, Classic Chrome, Pro Neg. Hi/Std, Monochrome and Acros are now an almost perfect match.
This is quite a departure from previous versions and supported cameras with the older EXR II engine, where shadow tones used to block out. The improvement applies to all newer camera models with an X-Processor Pro engine, such as X-Pro2, X-T2, X-T20, X100F and GFX 50S.
But see for yourself! I have prepared a private album for your viewing please here in Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/gp/ricopfirstinger/6y60X7
The album features SOOC JPEGs and their Lightroom equivalents of all 15 film simulations that are available in the X-Pro2. You can click trough the album and see direct comparisons of both versions.
